Bevis Fenner is a British artist b. 1977, UK. He teaches Art, Graphics and Media Theory at post compulsory level and is working for a PhD in Human Geography at the University of Exeter. Further to this he has also co-authored and illustrated a book on Media and Cultural Theory.

Bevis Fenner’s work focuses on moments of liminality in tourist travel. His paintings have a photorealist feel, which serves to heighten the hyperreal touristic sensibility; the sense of voyeuristic detachment from our purer and more direct experiences of tourist travel.
